Dr. Hind Al-Abadleh, Department of Chemistry Dr. Hind Al-Abadleh is an environmental physical chemist with research interests in the fields of atmospheric chemistry, geochemistry and heterogeneous catalysis. Dr. Al-Abadleh obtained her PhD at the University of Iowa in 2003 and until 2005 she was a Postdoc at Northwestern. She is an author on 13 peer reviewed journal articles including four in 2005 and co-author on a book chapter in the recent Environmental Catalysis book. In January 2006, Dr. Al-Abadleh will be teaching the second year physical chemistry course (CH215) involving kinetics, quantum chemistry and spectroscopy. In addition Dr. Al-Abadleh will be teaching a special topics course in environmental catalysis (CH480d).
