I have been a faculty member at Laurier since 1987 when I received my PhD in Finance from the University of Western Ontario in 1987. I earned my CA designation in 1983.
In 2012 and 2013, I served as the president of the Northern Finance Association.
My current research focus is on insider trading. My past research was in corporate finance and market microstructure with a focus on Canadian capital markets.

I supervise undergraduate students in the Laurier Student Investment Fund. I supervise both undergraduate and graduate students in the Laurier Startup Fund.
