We remain committed to helping you recruit co-op students. 

Recruiting During a Pandemic

Please indicate in job descriptions whether students will be working remotely, on site, or in a hybrid of both. If students will be working on site, please mention your mask policy and whether you require employees to be fully vaccinated. You will find Laurier's latest COVID-19 policies here. 

Recruit for Spring 2022

• A few talented students are still seeking work for spring; during the continuous recruiting period, you may arrange interviews any business day.

Recruit for Fall 2022

• We invite you to participate in the primary recruiting period for the fall work term.
• We will begin posting jobs for the fall on May 5, 2022.
• We will hold interviews from Wednesday, May 25 through Friday, May 27 and from Monday, May 30 through Thursday, June 2.
• You may interview remotely any of those days; we will host in-person interviews on campus on May 25 and 26.

If you will not be ready to post a job by May 18, you are welcome to participate in the continuous recruiting period, which begins on June 8.

Training/Supervising

• We encourage you protect employees' health by enforcing pandemic protocols.
• Please provide students with training resources, including policies and procedures, that they can review from home. You might arrange to communicate with them by email, phone, and through group chats and video conferencing.
• If your students work on site, please provide appropriate processes for distancing and sanitizing.
